Dinesh Panday: Hat-tricked on Alltech Young Scientist Competition

The Alltech Young Scientist Award brings together the world’s brightest scientific thinkers from colleges and universities across the globe. Undergraduate and graduate students are asked to register and submit a scientific paper on a topic involving animal feed technologies, agricultural developments or agriculture management.

A student, Dinesh Panday from Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science, Tribhuvan University who had just completed his graduate level in Agriculture (Soil Science) in this February 2012. Panday won as Young Agricultural Scientist (2010 Nepal first place, 2011 Nepal second place and 2012 India Subcontinent Zone second place with $250 USD) which was awarded by Alltech Young Scientist Program, USA.

The program gives students the opportunity to be rewarded for their scientific discoveries and research and to compete internationally at the highest level. The winners of the undergraduate and graduate Alltech Young Scientist will receive a scholarship of $5,000 and $10,000 respectively, as well as a trophy of recognition.
